Cadbury egg-like cookie cups ~ Easter

chocolate chip cookie dough
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup butter-softened
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups powdered sugar
yellow food coloring

Spray a muffin tin with nonstick spray and add about 3 Tbls dough to each muffin well. Bake for 13-15 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes in the pan. The middle should sink in, but you can help it along by pressing a small spice jar in the middle while it's still warm. Remove from pan and cool. Combine syrup, butter, and vanilla till smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar and mix well. Remove about 1/4 of the mixture and dye it yellow. Spoon white cream into cookie vups and finish off with a small dab of the yellow cream to make it look like a yolk.
