On this blog you will find easy recipes that don't require a lot of strange ingredients that nobody has on hand. Onion Steak Sandwiches

1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp dried minced onion
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp garlic salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 mediumm onion-halved and thinky sliced
3 Tbls butter
1-1/2 lbs beef round steak-cut into thin strips
1 Tbls olive oil
6 Italian rolls-split

In small saucepan, combine the first seven ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile in large skillet, saute the onion in butter until tender; add the meat. Cook and stir until meat reaches desired doneness; dain. Stir in the tomato sauce mixture. Brush oil over cut side of rolls; fill with steak mixture.
