On this blog you will find easy recipes that don't require a lot of strange ingredients that nobody has on hand. Double Cinnamon French Toast

12 slices cinnamon bread
2 cups half and half cream
3/4 cup sugar
3 eggs
3 egg yolks
1-1/2 tsp vanilla
2-1/4 tsp cinnamon
Serve with warm maple cinnamon apples (see previous recipe)

Spray rimmed baking sheet or 15x10 inch baking dish with nonstick spray. Cut bread slices in hal diagonally and arrange in single layer in the pan. Whisk all remaining ingredients in large bowl and pour over bread (lift slices to make sure mixture coats bottom) Cover and refridgerate for 1 hour, or up to overnight, baste several times to soak the bread. Baked uncoverd at 350 degrees 30-35 minutes or till slightly puffy and starting to brown. Serve with warm maple cinnamon apples....see previous recipe
