6 Tbls sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter-softened
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup (any variety) oatmeal
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup raisins or flavored chips (opt)
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Stir flour and soda in samll bowl. Stir in oats and salt. In large bowl, cream together sugar, brown sugar, and butter. Add eggs and vanilla to the creamed mixture and beat till smooth. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add raisins or chips, mix and drop 1 tsp batter on cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes.
