On this blog you will find easy recipes that don't require a lot of strange ingredients that nobody has on hand. Easy Bake Oven Chocolate Cake Mix

1 cup sugar
3 Tbls cocoa
1-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup shortening

In a medium bowl, combine sugar, cocoa, flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir with wire whisk until blended. Cut in shortening until evenly distributed, and mixture resembles corn meal. Spoon about 1/3 cup of mixture into 11 small containers with tight fitting lids, or ziplock bags. Store in cool, dry place. Use within 12 weeks.
To Use: 1 pkg cake mix
4 tsp water

Mix together with spoon and pour into the 4 inch round miniature Easy Bake baking pans that have been greased and floured. Follow directions for the childs oven, or bake in Moms preheated 375 degree oven for 12-13 minutes. Remove and cool.
