1-1/2cups sugar
3/4 cup water
1 Tbls. maple flavoring
4-1/2 cups spaanish peanuts with skins
1/2 tsp. salt
In large saucepan, combine the first four ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat for 20 min. or until most all of the liquid is absorbed. Spread onto a greased 15X10 inch baking sheet, sprinkle with salt. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min or until peanuts are well coated, stirring 2-3 times. Remove to waxed paper lined baking sheet to cool completely. Store in air tight container.
