On this blog you will find easy recipes that don't require a lot of strange ingredients that nobody has on hand. Seafood Lasagna

 One box lasagna noodles

1 pkg small shrimp-peeled and deveined

small pkg baby scallops

1 Tbs minced garlic

stick butter

one container ricotta cheese

large jar alfredo sauce (or homemade below)

large bag shredded mozzarella cheese

salt and pepper to taste


Saute shrimp and scallops in pan with butter and garlic. Salt and pepper to taste. Boil pasta. In large glass or foil pan layer: sauce,  noodles, ricotta, all seafood, cheese. Repeat layers until pan is full, finishing with layer of sauce and cheese on top.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

Homemade Alfredo Sauce:

One block cream cheese

1 tsp minced garlic

pint heavy cream

1/2 cup parmesan cheese-grated

salt and pepper to taste

Mix together and simmer, stirring often until cream cheese is melted and uniform texture. If too thick, gradually add milk until desired thickness.
