On this blog you will find easy recipes that don't require a lot of strange ingredients that nobody has on hand. Garlic Herbed Chicken Breast and Veggies

2 Tbls olive oil
1 Tbls butter
4 chicken breast halves-boned and skinned
6 cloves garlic-minced
1/2 cup parsley flakes
1/3 cup rosemary
2 Tbls basil
1 Tbls salt
1 (16oz) bag mixed veggies (cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, carrots)

Heat olive oil and butter in a large nonstick skillet, and brown the chicken. Sprinkle chicken with the spices. Cover pan and reduce heat to low. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove chicken from pan and keep warm. Add the thawed veggies to the skillet, stirring gently until heated through ( about 5 minutes) for serving, lay the chicken breasts in the center of a serving plate, and surround with the veggies.
