Crockpot Marinara Sauce

1/2 lb ground beef
1/4 lb italian sausage
1/2 cup onion-chopped
1 clove garlic-minced
1 (16oz) can chopped tomatoes
1 (16oz) can tomato sauce
10 button musrooms-chopped
1/2 cup green pepper-chopped
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp oregeno
1/4 tsp basil
1/4 tsp pepper
salt to taste

In skillet, cook the meats, onion, and garlic till the meat is brown, drain. in the crockpot, combine tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms, green pepper, bay leaf, oregeno, basil, pepper and salt. Stir in the meat mixture. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or on high for 5-6 hours. Remove bay leaf and serve over hot pasta.
