On this blog you will find easy recipes that don't require a lot of strange ingredients that nobody has on hand. Caramel Popcorn-KIDS

1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4-5 quarts popped popcorn

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (95 degrees C). Spray a large roaster with nonstick cooking spray. Place popcorn in roaster and set in hot oven while making caramel. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Then boil without stirring 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla. Pour in a thin stream over popcorn, stirring to coat.
Place in oven and baje for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven, spread out over wax paper and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
