On this blog you will find easy recipes that don't require a lot of strange ingredients that nobody has on hand. Pear Bread

3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1-1/1 tsp cinnamon
3 eggs-slightly beaten
3/4 cup oil
2 cups sugar
2 cups peeled and chopped pears
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (opt)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Greas and flour two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pans. Combine flour, baking power,baking soda, salt and cinnamon in medium bowl. Mix eggs, oil, sugar, pears and vanilla in a small bowl; add to flour mixture, stirring just until moistened. Stir in nuts. Spoon into pans and bake 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes, until toothpick in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans. Slice when cool.
