1 tube Pillsbury crescent rolls (8)
1 stick margarine-melted
2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla
COATING:
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbls cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Separate dough into 8 portions. Fold over two of the corners of the triangle dough so it forms a rectangle. Roll the dough on a flat surface to make a tube, then twist tube a couple of times and stretch a little longer. Repeat for each triangle. Combine the melted margarine, 2 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp vanilla in a small bowl. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1 Tbls cinnamon for the coating in another bowl. Brush the melted maragrine mixture over the top and bottom of the dough sticks. Toss the dough sticks into the cinnamon and sugar coating mixture, roll the dough around with your fingers so they are well coated. Place the dough on a nonstick sprayed cookie sheet, spray the top of the sticks with a light coating of the spray. Bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
