3 qts (12 cups) popped corn
2 cups pecan halves or chopped pecans
2 cups 12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup Karo light or dark corn syrup
2 Tbls margarine or butter
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large roasting pan mix popped corn and nuts; set aside.
In medium saucepan, combine chocolate,sugar, syrup and margarine. Stirring occasionally, bring to boil over medium heat; boil 1 minute. Pour over popcorn mixture; toss to coat. Bake 30 minutes, stirring twice. Spoon mixture into a 13 x 9 inch pan. Press warm mixture firmly and evnly into pan. Cool 5 minutes and cut into bars.
