Lipton Onion Potatoes

1 pkg Lipton onion soup mix
3 Tbls butter
1-1/2 lbs red skinned potatoes
3/4 cup water

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Use 1 Tbls butter to coat bottom of jelly roll pan. Wash and cut potatoes into 1 inch thick slices. Arrange slices in single layer and dot with remaing butter. Pour in 3/4 cup water and sprinkle onion soup mix over potatoes. Roast potatoes on bottom rack of oven for about 30 minutes. When bottom of potatoes have browned, turn over and roast until other side is brown.
