Chocolate Pound Cake

1-1/2 cups unslated butter-softened
3 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla
5 large eggs
1 cup cocoa
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup water

In lrg mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat at high speed for 5 min. then add vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. In seperate bowl, mix together cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk and water, ending with dry ingredients. Mix until well blended. Pour into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 60-75 min or till toothpick in center comes out clean. Let cake rest in pan for 20 min. then turn onto cake rack. Cool totally.
