1-1/2 lbs boneless beef round steak
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 Tbls olive oil
2 Tbls honey
2 Tbls wine vinegar
1 clove garlic-minced
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp pepper
Partially freeze beef steak, then slice into 4 x 1/4 inch strips, and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a shallow dish. Add steak, stirring to coat. Cover and marinate in the fridge overnight. Remove steak from marinade. Using 7 inch skewers, thread 3-4 pieces of steak on each skewer. Place on grill over hot coals. Cook 2-3 min. on each side or to desired degree of doneness, basting often with marinade. Serve on a bed of cooked rice if desired.
