1-1/2 cups flour
1 Tbls sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups peeled, finely chopped apples
2/3 cup milk
2 eggs-beaten
1 Tbls vegetable oil
vegetable oil
powdered sugar
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl, stirring well. Add apples, milk, eggs and 1 Tbls oil; stir mixture until moist. Carefully drop batter ny rounded Tablespoonful into deep, hot oil. Cook only a few at a time, turning once. Fry 2-3 min or until fritters aregolden brown. Drain on paper towel, then sift powdered sugar over fritters.
