2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
20 oz can crushed pineapple-undrained
2 cup flour
2 eggs
1 cup chopped nuts
Frosting:
8 oz pkg cream cheese-softened
1-3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 stick margarine
1 tsp vanilla
Stir together sugar, flour, and soda. Add rggs and vanilla; mix well. Add pineapple and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees in greased 9x13 pan for 30-40 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean. FROSTING: Cream together cream cheese and margarine. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and mix till smooth.

I am really enjoying your recipes. I am so glad I stumbled across your blog. This cake is almost identical to one I make, but I also add mashed bananas to it. My youngest daughter won 2nd place with it at our local county youth fair one year.
