On this blog you will find easy recipes that don't require a lot of strange ingredients that nobody has on hand. Microwave Fried Apples

4 tart apples
1/4 tsp cinnamon per apple
1 tsp margarine (may omit if desired)
4 Tbls sugar
1/4 nutmeg per apple

Wash and core apples. Slice into aproximately 8 pieces each. Place in microwave safe pan. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Dot with margarine. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Spoon syrup over apples, then microwave another 3-5 minutes or until tender. Seve plain, with ice cream, or with whipped cream.
